After a few months of testing, sampling and experimenting we are finally VERY proud of our Bushcraft Dining Experience day.
To start getting the word out there about it we invited several fellow members of the Dorset Chamber along to sample it.
It wasn’t long before we were full of chamber members super-eager to see what it was all about.
We have had a few comments already…
Owen and Sarah were excellent in demonstrating and explaining the various skills that we learned during the day. Everyone attending were really impressed with the experience and the lunch and dinner were superbly presented. Peter Tanner MD of Tanner & Tilley
Just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you and all the team for an absolutely marvellous day – great activity, great people and great food. Simon Pride Head of Marketing & Comms at AUB
The most relaxing sunday I’ve had in months. Vincent Boni MD of Bournemouth Echo
Here are some trip Advsior Review:
“Growing up in the countryside, I spent a lot of my childhood outdoors. As an adult, I lost that love of adventure but found it expertly rekindled with the great staff at Land & Wave ltd on their Bushcraft experience day…” SEE REVIEW
“My compliments to the chef(s), as the food was incredible. Can’t say I’ve ever eaten that much venison in one sitting before! It was a pleasure to spend the day with you all and I would certainly recommend it to any other non-vegetarians who aren’t overly averse to the sight of blood! Thanks again, Paul…” SEE REVIEW
“I have been lucky enough to take part in the ‘Bushcraft Dining Experience’ and seriously enjoyed what I saw, learned (filleting and butchering) and most of all I tasted. From rainbow trout, wood pigeon, snails and the best venison you can find. All ingredients are sourced from a 6 miles radius and most restaurants would envy the quality of produce. My 16 year old son enjoyed the axe throwing and fire making techniques. Bushcraft the Dorset way, no funny bush tuckers here. Really well done and beautifully executed…” SEE REVIEW
With out further ado, I’ll let the photos do the talking...
