Land & Wave needs new Seasonal Instructors and Lead Instructors during 2016
We’re based in Swanage, Dorset on the Jurassic Coast We’re really, really busy next year and need more seasonal staff.
We would like to employ several Seasonal Instructors and Lead Instructors to be employed from April to November 2016. We hope to keep some of our seasonal staff on in full time roles at the end of the season.
To be a Seasonal Instructor you will need to hold all of the essential qualifications listed below, plus some of the desirable ones. We pay our Seasonal Instructors £15,500 pa and they normally work 5 days a week.
To be a Lead Instructor you will need to hold all of the essential qualifications, many of the desirable ones and have at least 2 seasons of previous experience. We pay our Lead Instructors £17,000 pa and they normally work 5 days a week.
We’ll pay you an extra £500 pa if you hold your D1 mini bus driving license.
The qualification list… Essential qualifications and experience
- UKCC BCU Level 1 coach
- SPA Training
- Good experience running sessions like Team Building, Raft Building and Bushcraft.
- Driving Licence
- SPA assessment
- Coasteering experience and/or qualification
- D1 mini bus driving license
- BCU 3 or 4 star sea
- An assessed walking qualification
- Duke of Edinburgh Award Supervisor and Assessor
- GNAS or Archery GB Archery Leader
