Why eat deer?

  • It’s richer in protein than any other red meat
  • It’s low in saturated fat. Very low indeed
  • It’s delicious
  • It’s cheap
  • Eating it is ethical and humane

DON’T buy it from the supermarket – most of that will be farmed, often in New Zealand.

DO buy it from your local game dealer (30 seconds on Google), it’ll be cheap, high quality and have very, very low food miles
